Apple’s Game Console

There is a lot of speculation about what the upcoming WWDC in June will mean for the Apple TV product. After introducing support for MFi Controllers last year, a lot of people in the know are expecting an updated set top box with an app ecosystem like we’ve seen on the iPhone.

What you may not realize is Apple did launch its own gaming system, competing with the PlayStation and N64 back in 1995. It was not successful – they pulled it off the market when it wasn’t able to crack 50,000 units sold.
